dacota46 0 #1 July 30, 2017 Hello Can anyone help me with the Precision 365 Tandem line trim chart? Their web site is down. I need to know the slack measurement on the stabilizers when relining the canopy. Thanks
riggerrob 643 #2 July 30, 2017 Just measure the slack on the old lines ...... before you cut them off. Something like 2 inches slack on B lines, 3 on C and 5 on D. It is not rocket surgery as long as you keep things symmetrical. Overall line trims on Precision 365 and Icarus 365 are the same. I have even sewn Icarus line kits onto Precision canopies and they fly great!
dacota46 0 #3 July 30, 2017 Thanks for the answer. Just wanted to make sure. Now that you brought that up isn't the trim on the Icarus a bit different then on the Precision? You mentioned you used Icarus lines on a Precision canopy.
Deyan 36 #4 July 30, 2017 riggerrobSomething like 2 inches slack on B lines, 3 on C and 5 on D. Are you sure those are not in centimeters? Never seen a canopy with 5 inches slack!"My belief is that once the doctor whacks you on the butt, all guarantees are off" Jerry Baumchen
dacota46 0 #5 July 30, 2017 Sigma Tandem is 1 inch on the B and 1.5 inches on the C. The Icarus is a bit bulkier.
dacota46 0 #6 July 30, 2017 I just found an Icarus 365 line trim chart. It says: On the B line 1 cm. On the C line 2.5 cm. On the D line 3.5 cm.

The slider would be all screwed with those measurements. It would be standing on its nose and not offering the same resistance as if it where laying flat where it was supposed to be. Jesus.... masterrigger1 2 #9 August 2, 2017 Quote master rigger, Did you notice that I started that sentence with "Something like ........" Rob, Yes sir I did. But I also noted that your "something like..." was actually "nothing like...." the correct measurement. Seriously Rob, you should never just throw out misinformation like that. You are smarter than that. MELSkyworks Parachute Service, LLC www.Skyworksparachuteservice.com
PeteS 0 #10 August 2, 2017 Aw c'mon Mel! Rob is from Canadia, he got confused with inches, centimeters, ect. Although he should have picked that one out before hitting "enter"...
