jerolim 7 #1 September 4, 2017 Hi, I am looking for 2 different materials in Europe. 1. What stiff fabric can be used as stiff (middle) layer in some container surfaces ? E.g. under mud flap to prevent wrinkles. What I had was some extra stiff white fabric with grid structure. But I am all out of that. Parachute Rigger Handbook mentiones PIA-C-3953, class2 material (basket weave) 2.Where do you get cypres window transparent plastic? Thanks.

However, since it is purely a stiffener, a dozen other bulky, stiff, heavily latex-coated fabrics will perform the same function. Maybe ask a luggage repair shop. Look in the Para-Gear catalog. 2. Cypres window clear plastic is available from automobile upholstery shops, Para-Gear, etc. It is similar to the clear plastic used to make windows on convertible tops for cars, boats, luggage tags, etc. Just remember to buy a grade that is flexible enough to allow you to tap Cylres buttons.
