mrGuy 0 #51 November 17, 2006 It has nothing to do with "American" views on breasts... It has to do with common descretion. I mean, lets face it, nobody is arguing that it's not natural or normal to breast feed. Even in public it's fine...but some, like me, never want to see it. Just like I don't want to see you peeing at the park..or some fat guy in a grape smuggler at the beach. so cover up. (unless you're hot...which breastfeeders in public never are!) Just kidding about that..I don't want to see it even if they are hot. (which they never are) The above statement regarding not-hot...it's a joke! If you don't think it's funny...not my problem. I just saw on the news a bunch of mothers doing a sit-in breast feeding thing for the cameras...ALL UN-HOT.

Been a long time since I've seen a new parent who didn't have a huge freaking bag of blankets, towels, spit-up-rags, and all manner of other crap that could be used to keep it discreet. Seems only polite to me to at least keep it on the down-low in a public place.
