As for Ireland you forget the Protestant terrorists that bombed just as efectivly as the Catholic terrorists. I think a lot of Muslims have a legitimate fear of the United States.
The reason I believe it is a legitimate fear is history. We have toppled governments, we have started wars, we support Israel even though they violet UN resolutions.

That’s just a brief past.

Think of the actions of this administration. We have invaded a country with out a reason.
We have declared that we will use nuclear weapons against countries, which do not have such weapons. Our President does not listen to facts he acts with his emotions, and in many people’s view including mine he is an extremist.

I hope that helps you understand why the Muslims in the Middle East should be afraid of America and the actions of this administration.
