billvon 2,991 #2 November 22, 2006 Hey, it's helping the Iraqis in the end. The kids who can't run just drink water in local ponds and canals, get dysentery, and die. The stronger kids get the water and survive. Thus the next generation of Iraqis get stronger, and they love the US for giving them water. The others don't like us, but so what? They're dead. unformed 0 #4 November 22, 2006 I was about to say Darwinism at its truest, but at the end of the video, the kid who ran the most didn't get the water. Some bigger kid standing by got it.This ad space for sale.
htrammel 0 #5 November 22, 2006 And the ones that survive have an awesomely vivid memory of the "Great Satan". Truly sad.
freethefly 6 #6 November 22, 2006 No wonder why they support killing the troops. That reminded me of the J.D. Blackfoot album The Song of Crazy Horse, the opening verse; You took his land and ate his corn and on his grave your land was born. You took his pride and you fed him dirt. You wished him winter without a shirt. And, you called this redman, savage. And after you crushed him, you helped him up to let him drank from an empty cup. You gave him the navy without the fleet. You made him lick your hands and kiss your feet. And you named this mad dog savage. Well, I found a book the other day so I looked up red and white to see what it would say. One was a savage. The other, unlearned. Like a look in the mirror the tables were turned for history has named you savage."...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." Royd 0 #8 November 24, 2006 I gotta say, that was just cruel. The least they could have done was made sure that the kid got a bottle of water.
Richards 0 #9 November 25, 2006 What a cruel jackass. I hope his family sees that video. I would love to see him trying to explain that to his wife, mother...etc. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within. gringito 0 #10 November 25, 2006 I've watched this video going on three times as I sit and write this post. Two words come to my mind, distasteful and deplorable. If you listen closely you can hear the man filming the boys reply "yes Sir" as he is asked, "are you getting this?" I can only assume that the twit holding the bottle is an Officer. This type of conduct is unacceptable not only for enlisted personnel but especially an Officer. As someone posted earlier, only in a more civil tongue than I'm about to use, at least the "prick" could have done is made sure the little kid got the bottle! However, I DO NOT believe that this behavior is representative of our military forces as a whole. At least I hope not.Green Grass and High Tides under Blue Skies
