There are people in the world that need to be smacked upside the head.

What kind of parents are these that won't even listen to their daughter's simple request? You know what kind of parents - a bunch of goddamn self-centered parents who think they know what's better for their daughter. The poor girl has dedicated her entire life around the color blue and made a very simple request that she wanted a blue car for her birthday. It's not like she said she wanted a pink elephant riding a unicycle. No, sir. All she wanted was a blue car. Is that such a hard task to fulfill? I don't think so. And yet, these useless parents can't even do that right. These parents should be thrown in jail for child abuse.

I think the little brat should be grateful that her parents would actually buy her something as frivolous as a brand-new-f**king-car. If anyone needs to be smacked, it's the kid. If I were the father, I would have taken the car back and left the kid with a goose-egg.

A girl who not only knows what she wants but has lived through the struggle of having her parents, who should love her and do as much for her as they can, instead proactively go out of their way to make her life absolutely miserable, and she has still succeeded in the end and gotten what she originally set out to do ....

It's overpriced. GM has gutted all the goodness that company used to have. It's not even a "Swedish" car anymore. The engine is a modifed GM ecotech, the chassis is from Opel...so sad indeed.

I hope this is real. And I hope she watches television. There's a commercial based on this exact scenario that does a pretty good job of making the kid look like a spoiled, worthless brat. I have no idea what the product is so I guess it wasn't that effective a commercial. If there's any justice in this world this is a few years old and her daddy was an executive at Enron. The bitch needs to spend some quality time wearing a paper hat and driving a deep fryer.
