The principal of an Islamic school has admitted that it uses textbooks which describe Jews as "apes" and Christians as "pigs" and has refused to withdraw them.

Dr Sumaya Alyusuf confirmed that the offending books exist after former teacher Colin Cook, alleged that children as young as five are taught from racist materials at the King Fahd Academy in Acton, England...

Here is what I don’t get.
No where in Islam does it say that Jews, Christians, or for that fact anyone is lower or a 2nd class citizen not to mention pigs.
As a matter of fact Islam is the only religion that believed all humans are equal.

So they are not even teaching Islam, but using Islam name to infuse hate.

Of course they can read and teach what they like.

Of course they can and should be criticized for it.

They are still a minority, but that doesn't prevent them from doing great harm on behalf of their cause. They have been "gobbing off" for a while now.

I think textbooks such as this are a good example of the true intentions of the Muslim world, and it isn't a desire to live together in peace.

Aren't you assuming that it was an 'Islamic studies' class or something like that? I would hope they teach other subjects, so that the hatred was not part of their formal Islamic studies, perhaps just a part of social studies or world history or something like that. It is said that some of the schools teach nothing but their religion, so that may be in doubt.

lets see i am 30 now and i was in iran from 10th - 12th grade. and a few years after. I came back to the US when i was 21

So it goes beyond this one Muslim school in England. The source of the books serves an entire Muslim nation.

If it wasn't being taught anywhere, it wouldn't be in the book. This one school may not use that chapter, but the kids can read it on their own even though the teachers don't require it. They should rip that whole section out of the books, if they really don't teach it. But elsewhere, in Saudi Arabia, it must be a widespread mandatory lesson.

Glenn Beck has been covering this issue for many months, but the mainstream media won't touch it.
