Damn right! If all our founding fathers had had the spine to support their leader, instead of whining about "liberty" and "rights" and all that crap, we'd still have a proper King sitting in judgment of us in London, and our power would know no bounds!

But no, those whiny crybabies had to bitch and moan about taxation without representation, and religious freedom, and "when in the course of human events" blah blah blah. Why couldn't they just stick to killing the godless Indians instead of turning on their own leaders like a bunch of gutless cowards?

I am glad that we still have citizens willing to stand up for what's right - war, torture and imperial power - and take a brave stand against those whiny liberals who gave us the declaration of independence, the constitution, the bill of rights and all those other worthless pieces of paper that the administration so wisely ignores.

Not true. Our economic policies could continue to put more power into the hands of countries like China, which could then crush the dollar. But that would only happen if we pissed off everyone else in the world by waging wars of aggression and imperialism, isolated ourselves behind fences, reneged on our treaties, violated human rights and tried to force our double standard wielding econopolitical system on the rest of the world. Fortunately, we have a system of checks and balances which would keep that from hap.........oh.........nevermind.

Actually teh opposite is true. With police forces looking like paramilitary units and the guard willling to turn on its people, there is no way the people of the US will overthrow the US, only the rest of the world. Do you really think the US is tougher than the rest of the world collectively? Wrongo - we are 4.5% of the world's population and probably ,35% of the military might, so if China, India and Russia wanted to defeat us they could.
