Do u beleave in God

Recommended Posts

I'm kinda falling in line with Steve & shorty, as I age, see more stuff happen, I get more convinced of my belief. I know people personally who have died and came back. Not a casual NDE, but total flat lines, all monitors for over thrity minutes. I'm convinced. So you can believe in the Great Punkin or whatever. One day, you're going to find that you were mistaken.

Yes I am a Christian. I believe and trust in Jesus. It's about having a personal relationship with your creator.

And a really good imagination:P

Do you regular make it a practice to mock women for their strongly held personal beliefs?

Your parents must be very proud.

Yes I believe in God,

No matter what theory you believe in it had to have started from somewhere. I am not saying god made earth in 7 days all I am saying is that some thing made this universe or made the beginning element that caused this universe to exists that is something that can not be denied.

The more we study science the more you learn of the patterns, and the complicated systems that run our small planet not to even mention the universe. I don’t believe all this is just by chance.

and she is very religous. She prays for me every day and just doesn't seem to work. I guess god isn't listening.

:D I'm not religious, or anti-religious, but when someone says they 'pray for me everyday', I thank them just like I'd thank someone that says they 'think well of me and wish me good things everyday'.

I suspect you two have some kind of regular friendly banter going on. But, if not, it's pretty much the opposite of what you are doing.

If not, it's pretty clear on these forums who the nice guys are in the debate.

I think it takes more faith to believe the universe happened at random a long time ago, all by chance. Some would dispute even Intelligent Design, but whatever happened to that 3rd Law of Thermodynamics, you know, the one of all systems tending to entropy?

REFERRING TO:

"But they all can't be correct. Jesus didn't allow for that. He was absolutely exclusive in that regard."

I think your missing the point: You feel that a man named Jesus was a god, so what he taught was divine docterine... For the rest of the world that views Jesus as a man, those teachings were simply his oppinion.

Just because the leader of one religion condemns other religions, doesn't make them less true: the condemnation is one of the beliefs held by the man named Jesus, NOT absolute fact.

When Missouri legalize Pi to equal 3, the 3rd Law of Thermodynamics ate itself and it dissappeared in a flash of heat energy - which dispersed in a manner which was unrecoverable.

But my gas mileage went up 30% the day it ate itself.

As long as I don't live very close to her where she can try to take over my life and control me everything is fine. Nothing like a thousand mile buffer zone to keep things amicable.
