I hate that fucking bitch. She is so aggressively mean, and hateful towards anyone that doesnt believe exactly what she does, and it pisses me off. There are plenty of people out there who have the same biggoted and mean opinions as she does but few out there would voice them so publicly and so directly as her.

Your own personal attacks for her personal attacks.

How ironic.

Didn't you learn the old "sticks and stones" story as a child? It's funny to see how upset people get over a silly word. I'd be willing to bet that everyone posting to his thread has said "faggot" at some time in their lives.

She's become a caricature of herself.
Name calling and party lines, sounds like any resolute partisan hack.

Shame on her for falling for standard playbook left-wing tactics.:P

Orrrrr, maybe it's just a blatant example of how typical extremists of both parties use the same childish tactics once the veneer comes off.

Honestly, I think she felt like nobody was paying attention to her, so she said something outrageous. She's just an attention whore.

I preferred your earlier response. It was clearly a joke both from her and from you. Your earlier response of course went further than her statement, but since everyone has a sense of humor........ oh wait. [:/]

Sort of like how liberals attach Neo to everything that they want to have a bad name?

Neo just means new and different. Neo is a prefix to conservative these days simply because Bush's brand of conservatism is not the same as traditional conservatism. What else is 'Neo' attached to?

neo-phron, neo-lithic, neo-tropic, neo-n signs. All BAD anti-liberal things.

She is an extremist just like any other extremist.
What is interesting to me is the people on the right who are so focused on fighting religious extremism have no issue with there own brand of religious extremists. Hypocrisy anyone?

The bad words get the press but she does something much more insidious and evil than swear.

In her regular essays, her paragraphs typically consist of 4 or 5 damning claims about the person she's criticizing starting with something that's likely true and ending with intentionally obvious hyperbole. Something so crazy and obviously untrue that nobody in their right mind would think it was anything other than a joke.

After even a light reading you'll walk away knowing the first one is true and also that the last one is not.

But what about the three in between? They're carefully crafted to leave you unsure. More than likely the average reader on Coulter's side of the partisan battle will believe them -- and some are probably even true but many are not.

She's got an astoundingly powerful lie machine going. Carefully crafted; certainly intentional; probably unstoppable.

Yes, they were both jokes in poor taste, but she IS an attention whore.

It is just the left using their self placed importance trying to silence differing views with lables (one more time)

Talk about hypocrisy

Oh ya, and the republicans have never done that!

Is Ann Coulter an actor?

In a way. Opinion jockeys are not "news", they are not "politicians" they are mainly entertainment. I'd say not an actor, but more of a jester.

Kind of like a jester as a person that just sits at the corner and pokes passerbys with a sharp stick - and then gets paid for it.

It's a living.

> she is playing a venomous right-wing extremist

I don't think she's playing at it. No more than Al Franken did, or some of the more hot heads like Savage, et al. If so, she's exceptional. Can you see it? She sneaks out at night to work at food shelters, attend discussion forums on public health care under an assumed name (Annie Rinickopaldi), secretly pushing the socialist agenda as a covert weblogger, posting on DZ.com under the alias "Lucky".

I suspect that the Rush Limbaugh thing is a pure act designed for maximizing income. I suspect 90% of politicians are acting as well.

It's the ultimate form of pandering.

I disagree I have never seen her in a movie, or on an entertainment show.
I get your point. However I feel if you ask her is she an actor or an entertainer her answer would be no. Unfortunately I believe there are people who also view her as someone who has a legitimate point of view.

Would you prefer that people refer to the group of folks who were running the executive and legislative branches for the last few years as simply "conservatives"? I'd think that conservatives might get pissed. "Neo" is the more accurate term. Of course I simply prefer "Cons". It's even more accurate.:D
As for Ann Coulter, she's the epitome of the "C" word.
Her value lies in her ability to get on air and cause what is essentially a bloody traffic accident. It's so horrendous that some people just have to slow down to rubber neck. Advertisers apparently love it.

Imperialist Republicans or Expansionist Republicans might be more fitting. I don't see anything conservative about Neo-Cons. The current label is frequently misused. Where have Lucky and Amazon been, lately?

Easy there. Narcimund might get on you about being a Misogynist. :o

She generally follows a pattern of getting on-air, saying something really hateful and then getting fired.

When has she been fired. It seems like her inflamatory statements typically get her a slew of appearances.

I hate Bill Maher!

He is so aggressively mean, and hateful towards anyone that doesn't believe exactly what he does, and it pisses me off. There are plenty of people out there who have the same bigoted and mean opinions as he does but few out there would voice them so publicly and so directly as him.

I did admit that I think Coulter is a bitch.:D
People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
