justinb138 0 #1 March 9, 2007 I've got a SA XD40 sub, but it's still a bit big for some situations, so I'm looking for something a bit smaller in either .32 or .380, leaning towards .380. Any of you gun people have any recommendations for something that's reliable and not too expensive?
Gene03 0 #2 March 9, 2007 Try a large rock. If you carry a .380 you may be tempted to pull it in self defense. If you pull it you may be tempted to shoot some one with it. If you hit them with it, you just may really piss them off.“The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him. jm951 0 #6 March 9, 2007 Go to your local range, if they rent handguns, try several that fit the description. I'd recommend a small Glock in nothing under 9mm. You might want to look at the 45GAP. There is no substitute for bullet diameter, weight, velocity.

After all, you won't be accurate at 100 feet with a short weapon and then where will you be when someone mugs you with a knife or breaks into your 100 foot long bedroom at night? They are small, well made, very accurate due to the fixed barrel, and good follow-up shot ability due to low recoil. -------------------------- Chuck Norris doesn't do push-ups, he pushes the Earth down.
