I second that.

I agree with you, but unfortunately his lawyer will pull out all stops to make the jury see him as some kind of disadvanteged victim of exclusion who is merely misunderstood. By the time he is done the judge and jury will be crying their hearts out for this thug. I would not be surprised if he did minimal jail time. Heres hoping that I am wrong on this one.
Aside from the little novella you're composing in your head, you have absolutely no idea what the hell you're talking about.

Why are you not surprised? I mean, other than the fact that vicious crime has existed in humankind ever since the existence of humankind.
I'm not surprised because I can think of few members of society more vulnerable to criminals than a 101 year old woman.

God forbid those who know/have studied Law correct those who get their info from Wikipedia and too many episodes of Law and Order.

Oh here we go. The expert bit

Incidentally, I did not profess to be knowledgable in the law (and as a matter of fact on another recent thread I amplified the fact that I do not have a law background) but you shouldn't let that stop you from putting words in my mouth so you can jump on the condescending expert bandwagon and inflate your sense of manhood.

If you are a lawyer then why did you not simply offer a counterperspective and make your point like an adult instead of snipping away like an ankle biting heckler? Does it require that much thought and effort to offer a constructive input rather than simply doing the speakers corner court jester routine?
If I felt that I had offended you and you were genuinely upset at something I said I would have clarified and/or sought a polite resolution, but since all you have done on this thread is snip at people with remarks like "flying spaghetti monster" and a sarcastic response to someone elses not being surprised, I just figured you were the type who only comes on here to beat on your chest and pick fights. Therefore I treated your remark with the contempt it deserved. In fairness I can't complain. People like you add to the entertainment so don't let me stop you. Feel free to get in the last word.

Oh, yeah. I have no interest in the law, so I never watch "Law and Order" or any other law shows/movies.
Let's try to play like adults.
