Duckwater 0 #61 April 21, 2007 QuoteYou say that like it's a *bad* thing. It's not. And those were very good days. I dont have fond memories. Being the 100lb weakling I was an easy target of the rednecks. Especially when I was dumb enough to wear a white Miami Vice Style suit..... It is amazing how mean we were. The shy people took the brunt of it. It seems wrong that the staff let it happen.
Douva 0 #62 April 21, 2007 Here's a quote from a friend of mine who is a police officer in Kentucky. He's also worked as a police officer in Kansas and Colorado and as an EMT in Texas. Quotei think if you have a concealed carry then you should be allowed to carry anywhere there are not metal detectors... saying you cannot carry in certain places, like schools, only makes the people that obey the law stop carrying.... not the criminals.. criminals don't see the sign and think "gee, i better not shoot there"I don't have an M.D. or a law degree. I have bachelor's in kicking ass and taking names.

Many would have been under 21 and many would not have been US citizens. by age, roughly a quarter of the undergrads and all of the grad students. So figure 1/3rd of the students, and all of the faculty/staff. Then subtract the small number of foreign students, those ineligible, and potentially out of state students. WAG = 20%. That said, if the class in question was 1st year physic/math/whatever, then almost none of the students would be eligible. If it was upperdivision, could be half or more.
