crotalus01 0 #27 June 6, 2007 Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT illegal to go to Cuba as a US citizen with a US passport. It IS ABSOLUTELY illegal to spend even one penny of US money in Cuba unless you have special dispensation from the State Department, and they are supposedly only issued for "cultural sharing events" whatever the fuck those are. I think it's really fucking SAD that our government is so blind. If American tourists were flocking to Cuba spending shitloads of dollars and Castro kept up that same old Communist song and dance he would be out of there in a New York second....
