I'd certainly like to know WHY the MSM isn't giving even close to 1/10th the time to the AQ torture manual as they have to waterboarding and belly slaps.

AQ doesn't need to beat us in Iraq... the MSM is doing it for them.

Because everyone expects a bunch of hateful murdering terrorists to torture people. Up until recently, no one expected the US to drop to their level. Reporters report on unusual things, not on things that happen everyday.

When's the last time you saw a headline on CNN that said "MILWAUKEE WOMAN DIES OF OLD AGE" ? Why aren't you complaining about that, about how the MSM obviously hates old people?

I don't think torture of any kind should be done, I think it's pointless and inhumane. I do know that if I had to be captured by a group of American soldiers or radical Muslim fighters or North Vietnamese or North Koreans or Chinese or Japanese or Germans, I would take my chances with Americans. Based on these groups histories of past treatment of prisoners I would say we have not dropped down to their "level", especially the terrorist groups. Sawing a live mans head off slowly with a blade while saying Allah every 4 seconds seems a different category than "waterboarding", but that's just me.

Oh, absolutely NOT!!! As a matter of fact, the "ole red-belly" is WORSE than that because we're SUPPOSED to be so much better than them!!

The problem is that the terrorists, just like any bully, only recognize force. Am I advocating that we start beheading people? Absolutely NOT!!

I *am* saying, however, that the constant hullaballoo in the MSM over every single bad thing that happens in Iraq and the the corresponding LACK of coverage about the good things that are happening encourage the terrorists and give them renewed will to fight. Our troops are having to not only fight AQ, but the media as well.

Even though that video seems like a cruel parody, I was wondering if there is any training or preparation that could help a person survive such torture with their sanity intact (assuming the victim survives at all).

Is there any such thing? Surely it would be a valuable service, with the popularity of torture these days.
