Now what other axe do you have to grind. To me a bigot is someone who will be nice to some ethnic minorities face.... and turn around and use those wonderfull terms of endearment about them behind their backs..... you know.... wonderful terms like nigger...kike....spic.....wop.....the list goes on and on. No matter where you are in the world almost EVERY group has its group that they deride in some way.

Maybe one day the people will get beyond the need to demonize or deride those who are different from themselves.

My theory is, 90% of the people who don't consider themselves to be racist, when they get mugged/insulted/mistreated/tackled/fenderbended by a black person, the first thing in their head is "Goddamnit f*cking n****r".

Much depends on language as well. If you got a pakistani in the neighbourhood and he has the same accent/vocab as yourself, more than likely you won't even see he's a pakistani. If he doesn't speak the language, the difference will become more apparent, thus there's a bigger chance he will be discriminated against.
