gofast_ER 0 #26 June 12, 2007 Intresting you should mention this. Just the other day I was sittin in my tent with my buddy. We were looking through some old parachutist mags. He pointed out that their didn't seem to be any black skydivers. It then occured to me that over the years I think I have only seen one black guy skydiving. I wonder why this is.I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

jakee 1,490 #30 June 12, 2007 Quote Assuming that the car itself can withstand the race to begin with, it is all about the driver. BwaaahahahahahaLook don't get me wrong, I love F1 racing, but outside of exceptional circumstances even the best driver in the world wouldn't win a race unless he was in one of the top 2 teams on the grid, and during a few of the recent "Ferrari years" even that wouldn't be enough. And by the way, to the OP, the amazing thing about Hamilton's achievement is not that he's black, but that it is only the 6th race of his rookie season, he has been on the podium for all of the other 5 (4 seconds and a third), and he is leading the championship by 8 points over his double world champion teammate. Simply stunningDo you want to have an ideagasm?

I used to work with a black guy and I took him to Z-Hills where they were doing 100 ways. I was so pleased to be able to prove to him the his statement of "there is no such thing as a black skyjumper" was not true. There were 2 black guys on the 100 ways. I have personally done several jumps with 3 other black people. There are not many in the sport, but they are out there with us. I saw a black comedian who made the observation that you don't see black guys in any adventure sports. He was of the opinion that black folks have more sense than those crazy cracker mofos. Frenchy68 0 #35 June 12, 2007 Quote Just as impressive, if not more so, is his 6 consecutive podium finishes as a rookie. Exactly. And the fact that Alonso is his team mate and Hamilton is ahead of him in the championship race is also a major event. Kudos (so far...) to McClaren for not giving "instructions" to its pilots... It is an achievent for their race so there should be no problem with anyone commenting on it. Maybe if a black man becomes the president of the united states the national anthem maight get a new beat to it.
