I was not specifically trying to pick on you (hence the reason why I said all of us) ... I was just pointing out that the vast majority of us SC posters are opinionated and well there is also a lot of hypocricy here. I too try and be consistent. I have spent time in Colorado Springs. I was exposed to the “Focus on the Family” people, their God and their Devil. You'll have to help me out on that one. All I see there is a few guys trying to prove the Laffer Curve with no attention to basic economics. Someone that's 20 or 21 and only paid attention to the real world for a couple years might think we're on this great upward slope. Older people see is more as climbing out of a steep valley.

Not according to me. According to God. His judgment is in direct relationship to His holiness/goodness. His standard of goodness is moral perfection. Have you "ever" lied, stolen, blasphemed, committed adultery (looked with lust), murdered (hated without cause), coveted, or not obeyed and respected your parents? If so, you are guilty of breaking God's moral standard of goodness and are deserving of punishment (like the rest of us).

He doesn't need your acceptance. He commands your repentance. It's not about you. As long as you don't go uninformed. With knowledge comes accountability. You have a conscience (con = with, science = knowledge). You'll either listen to it or you won't.
