Amazon 7 #26 October 30, 2007 Quote It kind of proves my point. Nearly two months of silence means something good must be happening, but as soon as there's a tragedy, it's the first story on the news. You gotta be kidding right???????? There are DAILY reports on MOST news channels about bombings... death toll of our young people serving in Mr Bush's Excellent Adventure...I guess it helps to get the news when you pull your head out of the sand.... or where ever it is you have it. I guess you want PRAVDA like broadcasts of all the good little stories coming out of state sponsored tractor factories etc
kallend 2,032 #27 October 30, 2007 QuoteQuoteOn the other hand, maybe they're just tired of reporting it. BAGHDAD, October 29, 2007: A suicide bomber on a bicycle killed 30 Iraqi policemen doing their morning exercises at a base north of Baghdad on Monday in one of the deadliest strikes on security forces in months. And a roadside bomb attack in Baghdad wounded a US general - the highest ranking US officer to be wounded in Iraq since the invasion in 2003. It kind of proves my point. Nearly two months of silence means something good must be happening, but as soon as there's a tragedy, it's the first story on the news. Really? I thought you couldn't find any bad news, now it's the "first story". Make up your mind. It certainly is NOT the first story on Fox News (it's tucked away in a corner) and Newsmax doesn't seem to have it at all. Facts can be so irritating, can't they?... wmw999 2,461 #28 October 30, 2007 Tripe is the one food I'd rather never have again as long as I live. It just tastes gross. Even worse than the burned broccoli and cheese casserole someone brought to my parents' once (they said it turned out just right, too, which was really scary) Wendy W. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. wmw999 2,461 #30 October 30, 2007 Yep. Better than tripe. You can fry them crispy and put barbeque sauce on them. rehmwa 2 #32 October 30, 2007 QuoteTripe is the one food I'd rather never have again as long as I live. It just tastes gross. I had trouble with the texture of tripe. I can't stand the "classic" green been casserole - what sadistic devil worshipping freakbomb thought that beans, mushroom soup, and those fake crispy onion things would smell right, let alone taste like food? ...
