lawrocket 3 #2 November 19, 2007 Of course it is as much about making money as anything. I personally don't blame him for it, either. He found a market, made the market much bigger than it previously was, and makes a fortune off of that market. Honestly, Al Gore is a prime example of how to leverage yourself into becoming a gazillionaire. My wife is hotter than your wife.
pop 0 #3 November 19, 2007 Oil companies make money by polluting this earth. Gore is making money by attempting to clean it. I am not sure why people have such an issue with Gore making money. This is capitalism, isnt it? Without someone making the money, the issue of cleaning up the mess we made on this planet will not get the media time it deserves. Kudos to Gore for making money on something positive.7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer

It has been said however, that the GWing ploy is a way to start taxing and transfering money. The proof of that is coming out more evey day. Gore is just riding the leading edge of the wave."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Some people are going to get very, very rich off of it. Others will not. The "Green" companies become the next Halliburton - that kind of thing. Good point. That's why I embrace his words with some skepticism (in other words, I don't take everything he says at face value). I hope you immediately start protesting and use nothing that the traitorous earth is providing you! Imagine the nerve of the planet, going along with this global-warming ploy just to bilk hardworking americans out of their hard-earned money. If you stop using planet-made oxygen, water, and food, it would surely send a message to the dishonest forces of nature that are conspiring with Gore.
