Gore Is Green For Green

Recommended Posts

Of course it is as much about making money as anything. I personally don't blame him for it, either. He found a market, made the market much bigger than it previously was, and makes a fortune off of that market.

Honestly, Al Gore is a prime example of how to leverage yourself into becoming a gazillionaire.

Oil companies make money by polluting this earth. Gore is making money by attempting to clean it. I am not sure why people have such an issue with Gore making money. This is capitalism, isnt it? Without someone making the money, the issue of cleaning up the mess we made on this planet will not get the media time it deserves. Kudos to Gore for making money on something positive.

Yes, oil companies make money by getting you to use their product.

Because many people distrust research done by oil companies soley because they stand to make money from it but those same people don't distrust research done by Gore even though he stands to makes money from it.

Well, good for him. He was able to capitalize on something, after all the money he could not materialize for inventing the internet.:D

And to think we've been hearing all these stories about how solutions like Kyoto are going to make everyone poor . . .

Ah no, that is not what has been said. It has been said however, that the GWing ploy is a way to start taxing and transfering money. The proof of that is coming out more evey day. Gore is just riding the leading edge of the wave.

I view it more as a wealth redistribution. Some people are going to get very, very rich off of it. Others will not. The "Green" companies become the next Halliburton - that kind of thing.

And tax dollars support them

Good point. That's why I embrace his words with some skepticism (in other words, I don't take everything he says at face value).

Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

Yikes! That's scary. I hope you immediately start protesting and use nothing that the traitorous earth is providing you! Imagine the nerve of the planet, going along with this global-warming ploy just to bilk hardworking americans out of their hard-earned money. If you stop using planet-made oxygen, water, and food, it would surely send a message to the dishonest forces of nature that are conspiring with Gore.

The only thing more dishonest than Gores positons, are your posts here

There has to be some element of truth before it becomes funny. Otherwise it is just ignorant, like Fred Thompson's similar comment.

:D:DConsidering the text of the snopes link you provided. And the proven expertise that is demonstrated by billvon and you to take comments COMPLETELY out of context, your reply is a 10 on the irony scale

And I agree, as many in here will concur your consistency in ignoring-twisting-failing to recognize facts around here.

it's an interesting proposal - instead of sending carbon credits in to various companies, we should bury the money directly into the earth.

Funny that, coming from someone who believes there are 10 "Chapters" in the US Constitution.;)

And who (apparently) still hasn't been able to find out which part of the Constitution he thought was the 10th chapter. How about it warped? You offered to post it, so post it!

And to Juanesky - if Gore meant "because of me we have the internet" it is still nothing like claiming he invented it!
Do you want to have an ideagasm?
