masterblaster72 0 #1 January 14, 2008 Yesterday was a good day, love seeing those Cowturds lose. Enjoy those Coronas and Dos Equis, Tony Romo! You got plenty of time to do that now Looking forward to the rest of the season! Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
Para_Frog 1 #2 January 14, 2008 Every year. Every friggin year. Why do I keep pullin for Da Boys? As soon as he cocked his arm for that last pass, I said "You might as well just throw an interception you dink." CanuckInUSA 0 #3 January 14, 2008 This year was never about the Cowboys. It's about whether or not the Pats will be perfect. I can't see the Chargers beating them (I would love to see them prove me wrong because I am a Shula era Fish fan) and we will just have to wait and see who challenges the Pats from the Packers/Giants game. I know Favre is having a great year, but can anyone stop the Pats offense? I suspect (I hope I am wrong) that the Pats will go 19-0 this season. As soon as he cocked his arm for that last pass, I said "You might as well just throw an interception you dink." Fucking Romo. You keep pulling for them because they have made it to the big game more than any one else (8 times) and have won it as many times as anyone else (5 times). People love to hate the 'boys, but that's because they keep winning. This year was not supposed to be the Cowboys year; I don't know anyone who thought they were going to win 13 games. Wade Phillips took a team with obvious flaws (defense and special teams) and made them a contender. Why blame it on Romo? The defense couldn't make the stops when it counted and the whole team needs to be held responsible for the penalty problems that, when you look at it, really lost the game for them. lawrocket 3 #11 January 14, 2008 My two favorite football teams are the Raiders and whomever happens to be playing the Cowboys. I honestly don't mind losing my opportunity to root against them. My wife is hotter than your wife.
CanuckInUSA 0 #12 January 14, 2008 Quote Is football now a Speakers Corner topic too? It is when you hate the Cowboys ... haha Actually I don't hate them. But my dislike started years ago when they (or the media) labelled themselves as "America's Team" and yes way back when they always won it was annoying. But now that they lose like everyone else, the dislike of "America's Team" isn't as strong as it used to be. I think we tend to dislike teams which are a big threat to the teams we cheer for. Now the Raiders just suck!!! Haha ... but I am a Broncos fan. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

lawrocket 3 #14 January 14, 2008 QuoteNow the Raiders just suck!!! And I wear that they suck. Not as much as the Broncos this past season, but yeah, the Raiders have really sucked lately. At leats we got a win on you guys last season (and should have won the first game). I actually don't have a problem with Bronco fans - I haven't ever seriously considered stabbing any of them. In fact, I rooted for the Broncos at Super Bowl XX. My wife is hotter than your wife.
FreeflyChile 0 #15 January 14, 2008 I don't care about the Cowboys, and I hate the Packers (as a Bears fan), but after GB won i wanted to see the Giants win because I loved watching the snowy conditions on saturday...if i dont care about the outcome of the game, i love watching it in a lot of snow, rain, etc... now as far as the pats go, i want them to lose...but at least there's some consolation in knowing that no matter what, even if they go 19-0, pats fans can never brag about that without the whole cheating thing coming up - it's the new Bonds home run number! kelpdiver 2 #17 January 14, 2008 Quote Enjoy those Coronas and Dos Equis, Tony Romo! You got plenty of time to do that now seemed like his receivers failed him badly. The Charger win was the stuff of legends, esp given how badly they choke in the playoffs lately. But unless those injuries were of the day to day variety, they gave to Pats a pretty easy AFC title. All in all, one of the best playoff weekends I can recall. All of the games were pretty good to outstanding.
