Hannity has several national TV shows and a nationally syndicated radio show. Ward had a local radio show that was ( very briefly) nationally syndicated over a decade ago. For what reason would he ever rate the same amount of coverage as Hannity would in the same situation?

Pick a lesser known conservative and in the first setnece of the report the word conservative would have been used so, why not use liberal in the first line of the story as well?
