Is it fair to lose your car for drinking and driving - assuming you don't hit anyone else?
Andrewwhyte 1 #52 March 26, 2008 It does seem a bit strange that someone riding a bike at 95 is subject to a greater penalty than someone driving a Porsche.
Lindsey 0 #53 March 26, 2008 Is it fair to lose your car for drinking and driving - assuming you don't hit anyone else? I've never seen anyone forfeit their car over a DWI, but I've seen someone lose his boat because of a little weed. Ouch. He was probably MUCH less dangerous than either the drunk driver or the fast guy on the bike. linz-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. OHCHUTE 0 #58 June 6, 2013 Research suggests going faster causes less accidents. Hell, at the light, I bonk the horn and the lady up front on her cell pulls forward and hits the car in front of her.
RonD1120 62 #59 June 6, 2013 I ride my bike IAW the speed limits. I assume that if I go faster my chances of getting killed are increased.Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit.
