Bonfire is filled with statements about grabbing tits, spanking asses, sex, fucking, shitting in bath tubs, drug use, stupid human tricks and the like....

Are you very hesitant meeting any of them?

Words can become deeds you know.....

Most of the things you mention that are said in Bonfire are things that people actually do or intend to do. The statement labrys made didn't seem to have any intent in it - more of a hypothetical question. (Or so it seemed to me.)

You have every right to defend those that you feel deserve such. As do I.

I initially didn't lash out at labrys or attack him in any way for his methodology of "testing" his argument. I thought about and waited to see the responses. Which allowed the discussion to continue for about 30 more posts. It honestly wasn't until my post in #83 that I tried to state "you shouldn't be saying that" and then get the thread back on topic. Then all the justifications, excuses and attacks became directed at me. (for which I will not stand)

My whole argument on this is that you shouldn't joke about holding a loaded gun to someones head and pull the trigger... even if you "promise" to have the safety on.

As this is the internet, I don't know labrys and I can not say with certainity that he would or wouldn't do something. Is it a threat or not.... generally depends on the person making that statement. Since I don't have that information... I can't guage the level of threat.

You can have you opinion and defend people joking about all kinds of things. I would rather state, "nope... that's not acceptable to joke about" even if you "don't mean it." We all have limits on what is acceptable and not, even this site has limits on what can be joked about.... I just think that discussing holding a firearm to someones head and pulling the trigger is over the line.
