CanuckInUSA 0 #26 March 27, 2008 I saw something on one of the networks yesterday (I think it was CNN) where they mentioned who the various candidates were related to. As an example they said Obama was distant cousin of GWB, JFK, Brad Pitt (plus many more), McCain was a distant cousin of Laura Bush (plus many more) and Clinton was related to similar people and LOL Celin Dion. OMG (assuming what they said was true), American politics is controlled by a bunch of inbreeds. SimonBones 1 #30 March 27, 2008 Quote It's funny the media paints this as the most exciting presidential campaign ever. But from where I sit it is one of the most disasterous campaigns with "None of the above" being the only logical choice. Except, "None of the above" is not a choice. In a country of 300+ million people, couldn't you people find someone better than the 3+1 (don't forget Nader) clowns who are still in the running? Funny, I remember the media doing the same thing last time. It's what they do. Keeps you glued to the story. ratings go up, more advertisers want to pay the guys with higher ratings, media companies get more money. I also remember the "no good candidate" thing last time too. Kerry was a douche and Bush lost all of his popularity. It seemed that many who voted justified their vote as the lesser of the two evils, nomatter which way they voted. I don't think very much is new this time. Politicians suck and are sleazy. But you lose the right to bitch about it if you don't vote -Simon108 way head down world record!!! http://www.simonbones.com Hit me up on Facebook

Liberal? McCain wants the US to become a colonial power again (100 years occupation of Iraq is fine with him). Oh yes, liberals are all for colonialism And now he won't vote against torture - a very liberal stance... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. I certainly will not vote for that. Quote Put up or shut up time!! Except that McCain has proven that when it comes to the biggest foreign affairs issue he is absolutely clueless. Is that really what you want in a president? I'd vote for McCain over Clinton. But if Obama gets the nomination, he'll make a far better president than McCain.
