Supreme Court Upholds Indiana photo voter ID law

Recommended Posts

What about if you move to a state and establish residency there, but you are too cheap to get an in state driver's license (that's the law on many states) and want to 'stick it to the man' by illegally driving on an out of state ID?

HUH? betcha the right wing pervs didn't think of that.

But if you go in for the free voter's ID they catch that you haven't relicensed for driving.

I want my free ID, AND I want to stick it to the man by not switching my DL to my resident state.

It's unconstitutional, I tells ya.

...
Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

I legally have an out of state DL.

So, if you have an out of state ID, what are you doing voting in another state? I'd hope that you'd have to have and ID that backed up your eligibility to vote in the precinct to which you're registered. Otherwise, it's feasible that John Smith from Kentucky could go vote for John Smith from Virginia, voting twice and screwing someone out of a vote.
Oh, hello again!

I just checked, and my student ID is sufficient for purposes of voting.
