your fecundity or lack there of will exclude you old man:ph34r::ph34r::ph34r:

Nothing to prove here - I have 4 kids.:P Males can be fertile into their 90s.fecundity is not merely being fertile, it's also the ability to RAISE the offspring to reproduction age. you would not make the cut:P

I think you've forgotten the availability of TIME TRAVEL in the problem.:D:D.

Problem solving skills would be important too, and apparently you missed out.:P

I can’t believe this thread is so long when the answer is so easy.

I would take 8 people evenly divided couples, and Macgyver and his wife we would all be set and wouldn’t have to make a thing.

OR

I would take my self, the A team, and 5 girls.

> Another thing to consider is WHERE the time machine will deposit you.

Near ores, good soil, native edible plants, a river (fish and water) a hot spring (heat in the winter, if climate is temperate) trees (=wood) - preferably all at the same time.

AND the hot spring would be good for relaxing after a hard day at the copper smelter.

ok... that brings up another aspect

Body type:

Athletic of course

Female with "breeding hips" (cuz c-sections won't be easy to do there)

BMI. Shouldn't really do the thin and petite that would look good in a bikini. But not obese. "Healthy" but maybe a touch "overweight" to be able to accommodate missing a meal or two.
