So what should we do? Ignore crime? I do not think people belong in jail for minor things, such as getting caught with a small amount of weed. However, many of the people in jail belong there. How would you suggest we control crime without locking people up? I suppose we could just kill them they way some other countries do. That would probably help with the stats you mentioned.

How about actually educate people in prison so when they return to outside life tehy have a chance? See, your beloved corporations run every prison I know of, so due to that they want return customers, it's good for business. The penal system entices people to recitivate.

What I do decry are cops that seem to denigrate those who have sworn to protect and serve. Comments like you made about people getting the fuck out of YOUR COUNTRY.. and go to the USSR is pathetic. Sure you have the first amendment right to say it.. but I have the right and the DUTY to call you on it when you cant abide by our constitution.
