'Bubba vote' to hurt Obama

There are most likely more people that are going to vote for Obama because of the color of his skin than there is that will vote against him for the same reason.

Just for the sake of argument, let's assume that 10% of any given population actually IS racist.

Counting only the White vs Black numbers (*)
10% of 74% > 10% of 13.4%

Unless you're willing to say that for some reason you think Blacks are significantly more racist than Whites.

There was a study done just a few years back that actually proved it, IIRC it was a study started to show how racist whites were.

The researcher was completely surprised by his own findings, and he was a black man as well.

Find me a link that says you disagree with anyone you deem as less intelligent as yourself, and that those you deem less intelligent are the ones you disagree with.

I will not go find your research for you, I know I read it in a newspaper article.

Tough shit if you think it is not true.

I am sure you know far more about what is in others hearts and minds anyways.

That is why you are sure I am a racist, because you say so.

Tough shit.

Careful now...that ice looks pretty thin from where I'm standing.

http://dartreview.com/archives/2000/10/30/ten_things_you_cant_say_in_america.php

In Chapter One he vanquishes the absurd, yet common, belief held today by minorities and the majority alike that little has changed since the civil rights movement. 'By nearly any measure,' says Elder, 'the right to vote, to use public accommodations, to attend a state college or university if qualified—the 'civil rights' struggle, thank God, is over.' He chastises black leaders such as NAACP chairman Julian Bond and Atlanta mayor Bill Campbell for continuing to fight 'a war long since won while ignoring far more pressing issues.'

Did I strike a nerve?

All I asked for was documentation on a claim.

No I am just pointing out that several times you have implied I am a racist, and yet you actually know ZERO about me.

I get tired of hearing that crap from anyone.

If you had experienced half the shit I have. just because of my appearance, you would be shooting people from a tall building by now.

Have you ever been attacked for being a racist, just based on your looks?

well have you?

Did they try and kill you?

Did people of different non white ancestry come running up to the police and tell them they saw everything, and that you started the assault?

Did they?

BTW if it were not for one fool who claimed I launched into a racially motivated assault, and captured it on video, I would have never been exonerated.

He showed the tape, and the officer was about to arrest me, until the watch Sgt. rewound the video to the start;)

Good thing honest men like Officer Bell, and Larry Elders are willing to look past what is said, and seek the truth.

Ignore what? That I asked him for some documentation? You're not making any sense.

I just wanted to know how it feels:P

SO I guess all those rural red staters that get welfare..MILLIONS of them are liberal??

Yep, at least when their checks are on the line. Luckily for those of us that PAY taxes, they don't turn out to register or vote in great numbers.

Actually, I've never done anything of the kind. IF, because of your personal history, you've taken something I've said the wrong way, it's essentially seeing bunnies in clouds.

Quade will be running along in a minute in a huge display of white guilt, and tell us all to not believe people such as Elders, who is merely a white conservative racist bent on undoing all that has been accomplished by affirmative action and the likes.

Edler is hardly a credible sociologist. I'm pretty damn sure he's done no actual studies on the subject.

Maybe not research in a clinical sense, but he's studied the problem.

Other crucial issues not included in the ten, writes Elder, are the myth of global warming, that smoking isn't as bad for you as the media makes it out to be, and that minimum wage laws hurt the worker. While these views may sound outrageous, Elder presents a good case for each issue that is worth examining, with detailed tables and sources.

I hope he also covered the possibility that George Bush pulled off the WTC demolition, the US created AIDS to destroy the blacks, and that the moon landing was a hoax. I mean, sure, they sound outrageous, but good-sounding cases have been made for them, each with reams of supporting data and listed sources.

ST. PAUL — The "Bubba vote" and underlying racism will hurt Democrat Barack Obama in key battleground states such as Ohio and Pennsylvania, former House majority leader Dick Armey said Wednesday.
"The Bubba vote is there, and it's very real, and it is everywhere," Armey told USA TODAY and Gannett News Service. "There's an awful lot of people in America, bless their heart, who simply are not emotionally prepared to vote for a black man.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-09-03-armey_N.htm

Ironically, the GOP will face the warmth of the fire that the Hillary Clinton campaign stoked. Is that not intriguing?

p.s. - which voters would be the ones turned off by racism. The GOP voters, who wouldn't vote for him anyway? This thread suggests that it is actually the racist Democrat. There are so many bigoted Democrats that it imay be enough to throw the election to the GOP.

GOP - "I vote for McCain. He supports my ideology."
Dem - "I'll vote for Obama. He supports my ideology."
Bubba vote - "Obama supports my ideology, but I can't see myself voting for a mud-color."
Feminist vote - "Dammit. When we said we wanted womyn on top, we didn't mean a CONSERVATIVE woMAN. She doesn't count. Only liberal womyn count. DAMMIT. I HATE HER! But she does wear lipstick"

So what is the sugggestion. Those that would have otherwise voted for Obama (Democrats) will not because he's black.

Can't just answer a question can you. Did I say anything about 911?

Have you missed the last few posts, or are you being purposely obtuse?

Never mind, don't answer that. As before, I'm sure you asked a different question than what you really meant to ask, and my mindreading skills are, alas, not up to the task of divining what it is.

I beleive this is #55 in your handbook

When your adversaries make statements that ring true, seem logical or appear to have merit, ask them completely irrelevant non sequitur questions in an attempt to evade the issue and derail the conversation. If that doesn't work, announce with all due grandiosity that your opponents refuse to answer your questions or give cites, therefore, they cannot support their assertions. This ploy of course won't work with people who can think, but, it will bring Elitist Leftwing Liberals and the lunatic fringe out of the woodwork to jump on your bellicose, bungling bandwagon.

As I thought - no substance whatsoever, just the usual veiled PA. I do like the word "bellicose" though.

Have a good night. Have a beer or something; get that blood pressure down.
