As I thought - no substance whatsoever, just the usual veiled PA. I do like the word "bellicose" though.

Have a good night. Have a beer or something; get that blood pressure down.

BP is fine Bill. Thanks for your concern. Way to avoid answering the question tho.

You're not denying that there are groups out there for which this is a factor are you?

HERE's a web site of a group that doesn't endorse Obama and HERE is another.

They're definitely out there.

And how many first time black voters are voting only because he is black?

How many first time female voters voted in the primary only because Hillary was running.

But it you are a white male, you can not use these reasons or you are a racist or a sexist?

I've made it clear why I'm voting McCain, but to call one side of the coin racist and not the other is a bit hypocritical.

This is a wonderful thread for anyone trying to paint conservatives as racist. Your post is excellent but I'll go a step further and say it's not just a bit hypocritical, it's totally so, and it's the modus operandi of the left. You only have to look at their treatment of Colin Powell, Condi, and Sarah Palin to know that the only ism that really matters is Marxism, and the sooner the better.
The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer.

Just curious. How many times have you come into contact with law enforcement concerning possibly racist behavior/attacts?

None, other than self defense.;)

Sorry if that does not comply with your own thinking of what I must be.

What is it that people are called for the act of judging others that they do not know?:o;):P

How many times have you been arrested for prostitution?

You have the physical requirements, and that should be enough by your standards to warrant such an accusation.

Well worse...

It seems just fine to vote for Obama only because he is black.

It seems just fine to only vote for Palin or HRC solely because they are female.

It even seems OK to vote for anyone as long as they are not Republican.

But, if you vote based on looking at both choices and you happen to NOT pick the black guy...You are called racist.

If you don't pick the female...You are called sexist.

Fair enough.

How many times have you come into contact with law enforcement concerning you acting in self defense in which racist behavior is involved?

Very odd opinion you have there. I see the Democrats as the historically racist party.

Maybe to someone who doesnt see the big picture of how hundreds of years of overt, institutional and generational racism could still have a negative effect on an individual this view would be seen as "odd". But as Ive stated in other posts your view is easy, its not difficult to be a republican you are in the "haves" of course you wouldnt want change so the playing field could be level. Historically in this country republicans have supported pro racist policies and fought to keep them on the books.

-----------------------------------------------------------

wasn't Lincoln a republican? and you say republicans are racists?

Well, to be fair, that's really only been the last 50 years or so. Freeing the slaves was a republican plank back in the 1850's.

And now the parties are changing again. The republicans have become the party of big government, big spending and big deficits, and the well-to-do folks are more often than not democratic. They do that on occasion.

>Does anybody think Obama would be as popular as he is if he was
>properly black and not half cast?

I think Obama would be as popular as he is if he were a different shade, yes. Keep in mind that even by the GOP's most optimistic polls he's neck and neck with McCain - and this is a black guy whose middle name is "Hussein." Racists and jingoists alike could not possibly have a better target for their ire.

Marxism too strong a word for you? Is Socialism better? What word do you prefer for large scale income redistribution? I believe Obama's latest euphemism is "neighborly." Yeah! Neiborlyism! That suit ya?

Unless you're willing to say that for some reason you think Blacks are significantly more racist than Whites.

They're not racists, they're just taking affirmative actions to level the playing field.

Seriously, if you look at actual voting statistics, you'll find that black voters admit that race was a factor in their voting decisions far more often than white voters--and that's just what they admit. If you examine the actual voting patterns, a caucasian is overwhelmingly more likely to vote for a non-caucasian than an african-american (for example) is to vote for a non-african-american, in races where there is a clear racial choice on the ballot.

So, yes, I'm willing to say that, in voting patterns, blacks are significantly more "racist" (i.e. likely to be swayed by a candidates race) than whites.

Seven total.[:/]

It really is a shame that people choose to judge someone based upon how they look, and based upon that judgement, and use it as reason enough to attack someone.

And I believe you would be correct, now just wait for the usual suspects to tell you how wrong you are, and that you should be ashamed for saying so.

Or will they not choose to insult or chastise you for having greenie status.

Once again, I see you can understand that regardless of what we wish people were like, this is what really happens.
