So, what was that you said, McCain (Part II)

At the very least he was aware of WHO he was talking to during the entire debate and was polite enough to remember to show respect and refer to him as Senator.

If you want to get picky, Obama wasn't scoffing, snearing, laughing and jeering into the microphone when McCain was talking. I also believe I saw a count where McCain did about 90% of the interruptions all night.

I have to wonder who did the editing of the debate you saw???

>funny how you left out the 8 times Obama agreed with McCain

?? What does that have to do with anything? I often agree with McCain. Doesn't mean he's right all the time.

i guess if McCain is bush III that means Obama must like Bush's policy. or maybe McCain isn't that close to bush policy and Obama must not know what he is talking about when he says McCain is alot like bush.

Most of the time, no, he disagrees with it. Obama voted with Bush 40% of the time, which means that he does agree with him some of the time (as I do.)

>or maybe McCain isn't that close to bush policy . . .

McCain voted with Bush 95% of the time in 2007.

>Obama must not know what he is talking about when he says McCain is alot like bush.

If voting records are any indication, they are remarkably close.

>10% he didn't vote with bush on.

Exactly! It's like the presidential polling numbers. Sure, right now Obama is ahead 51% to 42%. And you can look at those numbers and claim that only 42% of the people would vote for the sort of president McCain would be. But doesn't that also mean that 58% of the people would vote for the president McCain WOULDN'T be? And who better to know who that president wouldn't be than McCain? Think about it!

He was talking about 'earmarks" today. We are on the verge of a depression and he is talking about fucking earmarks! Get a clue McCain, you dumbass!

'That's 8B dollars, sonny! I may be blowing more money each month with my Iraq policy, but you can't tell me this isn't a lot of money.'

(Obama is afraid to point this out, since removing spending on Iraq is still not quite a popular as saying remove troops)

That's 8 billion that goes directly back into AMERICA. Not off shore, Iraq or any other imaginary monetary place.

It isn't a lot of money as a lot of it comes right back.

Funny how people forget that.

So, he was wrong. Show me clips of Obama making public statements about the war in 2002.

please.

Yes, he WAS WRONG - VERY VERY WRONG.

I don't have to do your homework for you, though.

God I love edited video as "proof" of one's stance.
Oh please give us factcheck next!!!
:S

Do you deny that he made the speech in 2002? Are you claiming it's made up?

Maybe Lincoln didn't make the Gettysburg Address - there's no video clip of it.

Maybe you can find a video clip of a speech in which Obama supported the invasion of Iraq. But I doubt it.

Oh come on John, get your door straightened.
We all know he said it, as did many others.
I just don't appreciate the edited embellishments in the video, just like you wouldn't were the shoe on the other foot.
:S
You can remove your stir stick now.;)

That's cool.

Then we are agreed that on an issue which will cost us over $1 TRILLION (when all costs are added up) and over 4000 lives of young Americans, Obama was RIGHT and McCain was WRONG.
