If you want to get picky, Obama wasn't scoffing, snearing, laughing and jeering into the microphone when McCain was talking. I also believe I saw a count where McCain did about 90% of the interruptions all night._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... billvon 3,006 #10 September 29, 2008 >i guess if McCain is bush III that means Obama must like Bush's policy. Most of the time, no, he disagrees with it. Obama voted with Bush 40% of the time, which means that he does agree with him some of the time (as I do.) >or maybe McCain isn't that close to bush policy . . . McCain voted with Bush 95% of the time in 2007. >Obama must not know what he is talking about when he says McCain is alot like bush. If voting records are any indication, they are remarkably close. marks2065 0 #11 September 29, 2008 it is not the 90% vote with bush that i am curious about, it is the 10% he didn't vote with bush on. these are the things that make the difference. alot of people agree on alot of things but the subtle diferences are the tangebles that make the person unique
billvon 3,006 #12 September 29, 2008 >it is not the 90% vote with bush that i am curious about, it is the >10% he didn't vote with bush on. Exactly! It's like the presidential polling numbers. Sure, right now Obama is ahead 51% to 42%. And you can look at those numbers and claim that only 42% of the people would vote for the sort of president McCain would be. But doesn't that also mean that 58% of the people would vote for the president McCain WOULDN'T be? And who better to know who that president wouldn't be than McCain? Think about it! 'That's 8B dollars, sonny! I may be blowing more money each month with my Iraq policy, but you can't tell me this isn't a lot of money.' (Obama is afraid to point this out, since removing spending on Iraq is still not quite a popular as saying remove troops)

kallend 2,027 #22 September 30, 2008 Quote God I love edited video as "proof" of one's stance. Oh please give us factcheck next!!! Do you deny that he made the speech in 2002? Are you claiming it's made up? Maybe Lincoln didn't make the Gettysburg Address - there's no video clip of it. Maybe you can find a video clip of a speech in which Obama supported the invasion of Iraq. But I doubt it.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
