I saw a segment o McCain walking around like the kindly grandpa talking about looking into eyes and seeing "K....G....B" with the most smug shit eating fucking grin I have ever seen.

KGB - That surely will alleviate forthcoming discussions with Russia. One only can hope, McCain will not participate in these discussions.

Yeah, but at least Obama (and about 50 journalists) recently vacationed in Iraq (but failed to say hello to the troops) so at least he has that going for him.

Did it change anyone’s mind??

I might also just vote 'present'

McCain gave me nothing new (He could have closed the deal by just voting against the bailout and playing on that the whole debate). Another liberal like GWB, just easier to listen to.

Obama wouldn't answer a single hypthetical "what would do in this scenario" - he continued to note that the government under him would be omniscient and he'd be able to diffuse any and all situations before they became a problem. The first crisis that hits this guy he'll waste months looking for the scapegoat that ruined his 'plan' while not working the problem he has in front of him. But, if they get in this time, that's the dem's plan for the first term anyway - any issue comes up, blame the last pres and not deal with it. It'll get them a 2nd term probably :S

Well, as much as I dread Obama taking office for economical reasons, I think our foreign relations would be one benefit of him leading. He may not have the experience McCain has, but Obama has our old allies respect much more than McCain. Although, I don't understand why the rest of the world dislikes McCain so much. I think just because he's Republican they associate that with Bush's foreign policy. I will admit that I'm a little concerned with McCains stance on Iraq, but I think overall he's the best bet for the country.

I'm with ya on this one. I hated the fact that McCain supported the bailout before it even happened. I may have considered voting for Obama if he opposed the bailout and didn't scare the crap out of me with all his additional spending ideas. At least McCain still says he's going to cut spending and not push for another trillion in spending right after taking office. For that reason, McCain will still get my vote. For some reason I just wanna write a big "I TOLD YOU SO" post on here about the bailout.

How can I believe him now?

McCain - "I won't overspend" - then overspends
Obama - "I'll spend like a drunken sailor" - then spends like a ship of drunken sailors

there's no good choice from a fiscal perspective, and even if there was, it wouldn't matter since Congress would spend/spend/spend no matter who the pres is

if mcCain is pres then he has to get congress to help him spend and they are dem majority. if Obama gets to be pres then he has congress to help him spend with nothing to stop him. and if the senate gets 60 dem seats watch out.

Its a wonder the Brits have any relations at all with the Russians after all the James Bonds films.

Let me just insinuate the Russians know about the difference of a James Bond movie and a presidential debate.

Yep, but if McCain was already brainwashed by the KGB in the H Hilton, what's the fuss. Come to think of it, the Ruskies probably haven't cooled down over, "The Hunt for Red October". Good flick.:)
