One of those groups wishes to restrict the ability of others to exercise their religion and pursue happiness as they see fit, on the basis of their sexual orientation. The other group is not trying to deprive anyone of anything, they're just trying to protect their own right to happiness while it's under attack. Unfortunately the latter group lost, despite having (in my opinion) the moral high ground.

And the thought of a crowd of effeminate male bullies makes me laugh.

And why do these people get to decide what marriage is "all about"? I certainly don't see my marriage as a religious rite, so does that affect the marriages of everyone who does? And don't they realize that marriage has continually changed over the years? Is the "traditional marriage" that they want to preserve the type of marriage in which a woman basically becomes the property of a man? Or is it OK that that particular little part of what marriage was "all about" changed?
