kallend 2,105 #52 November 9, 2008 QuoteWith his term coming to an end and his approval rating setting records for the lowest ever will Bush go down in history as the worst president ever? Plain and simple. Yes or no? Yes. Even his own party's candidates were making the pitch about how often they disagreed with him, how they stood up to him, etc. and McCain clearly wanted to disassociate himself as completely as possible.... kra 0 #53 November 9, 2008 QuoteI am sure once the terrorists start taking over your "Old world", all of Europe will come begging for our help once again. Actually, islamist terrorists attacked France a long time before 9/11. Paris has suffered 2 major terrorist attacks in 95, one in the subway, the other on surface street. A plane also got hijacked in Marseille in 94. All those attacks are due to Algerian terrorists. London suffered a major attack as well, in 2005, in the subway too. Madrid's subway got bombed too in 2004.

shropshire 0 #55 November 9, 2008 QuoteQuoteI think its funny how people from other countries think they can comment with intelligence about another world leader (excuse me, THE world leader, since every other country is a second world country). Maybe it's their own socialistic country that pisses them off and inspires such hatred. We as the US give billions of $ away each year and yet the rest of the world still slanders us. Piss on them all. And the fact that someone from the UK can comment with such vehemanance pisses me off to no end. If it wasnt for the US they would be speaking German! Thats just my 2 cents! Your 2 cents is clearly worth f*ck all. Give the man a break, he's explained his position. (.)Y(.) Because you traveled here? Wow, you must be quite the genius. Oh and by the way, I think you know what a 2nd world country is. I am sure once the terrorists start taking over your "Old world", all of Europe will come begging for our help once again. You don't need to travel somewhere to learn about it. He's awful and flat-out saying that people who don't realize what he has (not) done are ignorant is pretty ridiculous. The only good thing that he's done is incite quite a few people to involve themselves in the democratic process instead of sitting idly by while the "ignorant" proceed to vote another GWB into office. You mean like the bombing of the USS Cole? or the bombing of the World Trade Center in '93? or when China captured our spy plane? NoShitThereIWas 0 #75 November 10, 2008 Well in my opinion, he sure as hell should. When I get to the point that I am almost embarrassed to call myself an American because of my association with the President, it has got to be pretty bad because I consider myself a very patriotic person. George Bush is a disgrace to the American people. I hope all the conniving Repubs who wanted to make such a disgraceful display of Bill Clinton can see how absurd a comparison Bill's actions were to Bush's. I am glad we have a half black President. Maybe if he does a good job like I think he will, people can learn to get over their racism and prejudice and learn to respect each other equally and fairly. Those are the nuts and bolts of our country and it's democracy anyway; equality and fair treatment regardless of race, religion or background. At first I wasn't wild about having a President named Barack Hussein Obama, before I knew anything about him I was like Geeez, you mean so closely after 9/11 and our entering Iraq and ostracizing Sadaam Hussein we were going to have a President named that??? I am happy for what Obama represents to the African American people. I would have liked to see Hillary get in there and would have liked seeing a woman do it first, but I'll take Obama anyday just after seeing McCain's campaign material. Although I have respect for McCain's love and respect for this country, I love and respect this country too but that doesn't mean I have the tools to make a good President.Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires."
