tigra 0 #2 December 29, 2008 Yes, this probably should be in the SC. It makes sense to me- if a teenager doesn't *plan* to have sex, he or she will not be prepared to have sex. But that doesn't mean they won't get carried away, pressured, coerced or forced into it anyway. These are the same kids who will be embarrassed or afraid to buy condoms or talk to their doctor about birth control.

Probably the strongest reason for the rubber giveaways at schools. Wife & I get into huge arguments with her parents over this: they insist that giving teens easy access to birth control (a) conveys tacit approval of pre-marital sex, and (b) makes teens more likely to have sex, by lessening the risk (read: fear) of consequences from doing so. We simply cannot shake them from this opinion.

We simply cannot shake them from this opinion. I think there's a small degree of truth to both points. But we know the incredible costs of the ostrich in the sand approach. A small number of the boys and a significant majority of the girls have their life's path derailed by a pregnancy. And though we're not afraid of AIDS like we were in the early 90s, it's too bad we're not, as it could be declining away. The anal sex virgins don't help by engaging in the sex act most likely to spread HIV.
DaBiff 0 #7 December 30, 2008 The problem is simple, people (men and women) have no respect for what sex was created for. Sex was designed to be an act of total devotion and love between 2 people and it has been turned into a perverted act of physical pleasure. Men have sold and women have bought that it's okay to just fuck around for fun to the detriment of humanity. I hope everyone who subscribes to such meaningless, live for the moment, sexual pleasures has a lot of fun because you will pay for it eternally. Stupid, selfish, motherfuckers, enjoy the fires of hell.

dmkellett 0 #9 December 30, 2008 YEEE-HAA, jesus saves. Actually you got it all back to front, as most true believers do. WE have EVOLVED to find meaningless-live for-the-moment-sex pleasurable , and this is to encourage us to do it as often as possible. this leads to reproduction, which makes it more likely that our species will survive for the next generation. I don't subscribe to your silly GOD, and so can have as many shags as I want and KNOW that I won't be burning in the fires of hell. It feels good too. Sport Shags are the most fun type. I dont suffer an ounce of guilt, as I dont carry any silly GODs around in my pocket. you should try it!
billvon 2,990 #10 December 30, 2008 > people (men and women) have no respect for what sex was created for. Sex is for reproduction, as it is for every other sexual species on the planet. Without it we go extinct within a generation. With it we pass on our genes to our progeny. We can add any sort of meaning to it that we like, of course. >Men have sold and women have bought that it's okay to just fuck a >round for fun to the detriment of humanity. And some of the more perverted religions have managed to make people think it's a dirty, depraved thing to do, something to be ashamed of, to do only in the dark under a blanket once you get approval from a priest. It takes all kinds.
