I am sorry.. but your image of the perfect southern gentleman... in my experience is just that..... an image. Reality has been somewhat different in my experience. I have never met a man that could live up to the standard you are demanding.

You're still way out in left field, sweety. He lied under oath, he knew he was lying, and that is why he was impeached. The state of Arkansas also saw fit to take away his law license for a period of time for what they saw as an obvious and blatant attempt to circumvent the law. No matter whcih way you slice it, he got a relative slap on the wrist for something you or I would have still been sitting behind bars for.
All of the impeachment mess could have been avoided if the guy had the integrity to face the consequences of his actions and tell the truth. In that respect he is no different than W. The only thing we learned was that being a Rhodes Scholar only means one is well educated. It doesn't mean one is intelligent.

The glass house saying is coming to mind right about now. Your beloved can do no wrong democrats have been in control of the house and senate for the last two years. Out of the 12 vetoes Bush had only one was of economic nature (farm act) which was overturned by congress. So the democrats passed everything that they proposed yet the last two years that the democrats have been in charge has been the worst economically.
