As President Obama moves into The White House today, the question on everyone's lips must surely be; "Where is the PUPPY"!!?? I'm sure that he said: "You have earned the new puppy which WILL be moving into the White House WITH us". Yet in a recent interview, what did we get..? "We've narrowed the choice to a Labradoodle and a Portugese-Water-Dog (A WHAT!!??), Now we just have to search the animal shelters to find the right dog." Firstly, I would hope that your new First-Citizen will have more pressing things to do than hit the animal shelters. Secondly, I'm guessing that with Labradoodles & P-W-Ds being quite fashionable, there won't be an abundance of such well behaved pups in animal shelters... At least, not unless the Secret-Service pay a few visits to owners first! Then again, perhaps Portugal will swap one of their Water-Dogs for some of the Gitmo Detainee's they say they'll take. In the meantime, I hope we don't have to wait 3 years for the First-Puppy to make an appearance. Mike.
