Hi Erroll, no I seriously doubt that. The Real IRA have been escalating their activity for the last year or two, its more likely that they took this action after they aborted an attack on Ballykinler Army base. At the end of Jan. They abandoned a 300lb VBIED in a village and took off.
They also claim that they shot the pizza delivery men for 'collaborating with the British'

They're desperate to get back into the news and destroy the peace process and the economy in Northern Ireland. Some people know nothing but violence.
