guppie01 0 #26 April 17, 2009 I've dabbled with SC... however I always ask for people to be nice to me as I'm a newbie in their world - for the most part it works, and they stay relatively civil in my threads. Good luck, and god speed Deedy! g "Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" Raddest Ho this side of Jersey #1 - MISS YOU OMG, is she okay? guppie01 0 #29 April 17, 2009 LOL I really enjoy lurking in SC - very informative & educational at times, and it's also pretty entertaining to see the other side of people . It's probably a good thing I got to know most of the people here in the bonfire first, because had I seen their online persona in SC first I would have been terrified to meet them! g "Let's do something romantic this Saturday... how bout we bust out the restraints?" He was VERY opinionated in his postings, but when I finally met him in person at a crw boogie, he was very intimidating physically, but was just like a big ol' pussycat once I got to know him."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

kbordson 8 #33 April 17, 2009 Quote maybe even learn something new... Does anybody really do that in SC? My honest thoughts ... just be yourself. Read others opinions, try to take the random insults with a grain of salt, try to play nice. There's a lot in this world that we don't know about or haven't even thought enough on to base an opinion. Hearing other topics and seeing things from different perspectives can help you grow and/or can help you better understand your own beliefs.

lawrocket 3 #35 April 17, 2009 Find some activity in which you regularly participate but is perceived by some as sin. I.e. go to church, engage in unmarried sex (yeah, right - I know you don't do that it is just an example), pay for your own insurance, or are trying to organize a union. Decide: "Do I feel guilty about doing this or not?" If so, post about how horrible people are who do what you do (think GOP bitching about Obama expanding the govt. And running huge deficits). If you have no problem with it, post that there is nothing wrong driving a Hummer. If you are merely image-conscious, defend your use of the Hummer because you shop at Whole Foods, buy only solar-powered exterior lighting, vote green and take steps to be carbon neutral. My wife is hotter than your wife.
