shropshire 0 #1 July 28, 2009 This makes my blood boil The MoD (Ministry of Defence) are trying to REDUCE a couple of soldiers compensation payouts (not for the first time!)... The lads in general do not get massive payouts anyway especially when compared to private the "stupid people compensation" that we see so often in the news. Play fair govenment - you sent the lads into harms way - now look after them and their families - you spinless cunts Clicky (.)Y(.) longtall 0 #5 July 28, 2009 At the tower of London theres a series of cartoons depicting the life of a fusileer. The first panel depicts the grand training, and the last depicts the soldier begging in the street." 90 right, five miles then cut."---Pukin Buzzards

Did alternet.org tell you that or did you come to that conclusion all by yourself? Funny, it actually sounded right wing to me (at least, as a liberal) "What, you want me to bail you out for the decisions you made? Where's your personal responsibility? If you join up and then get injured in war, don't start whining about it. That's as stupid as not buying decent health care [in the USA] and then complaining when you get sick. You have to plan ahead when making your choices."
dropoutdave 0 #10 July 28, 2009 That is disgusting behaviour from the MOD. I wonder how much of the tax payers money they will waste taking this to court again.
