He justifies everything only to further his point, regarless of wether there is logic or how literal the material is. It's akin to yelling at a brick wall to move out of your way. wmw999 2,452 #139 August 7, 2009 It was utterly tasteless for them to offer assisted suicide under the circumstances. Of course, the article (and the guy in charge of it) admits that now. Hopefully they'll fix that. Of course, assisted suicide is legal in Oregon, and some people do want to avail themselves of that option. According to the article, his chances were put at less than 5% (which is considered terminal). Otherwise the situation actually worked out the way it would with private insurance. Private insurance is denied all the time and people have to appeal (you can google it if you'd like). There are whole websites devoted to how to fight insurance denials. And, of course, most private insurance policies have a lifetime max. But in the long run, he appealed, and he got his treatment.
