Channman 2 #1 August 13, 2009 Posted by Henry Payne (The Detroit News) on Tue, Aug 11, 2009 at 12:17 AM Sen. Debbie Stabenow, Energy Leader (National Review, 08.10.09) Detroit, Mich. - Michigan just experienced its coldest July on record; global temperatures haven't risen in more than a decade; Great Lakes water levels have resumed their 30-year cyclical rise (contrary to a decade of media scare stories that they were drying up due to global warming), and polls show that climate change doesn't even make a list of Michigan voters' top-ten concerns. Yet in an interview with the Detroit News Monday, Senator Debbie Stabenow (D., Mich.) - recently appointed to the Senate Energy Committee - made clear that fighting the climate crisis is her top priority. "Climate change is very real," she confessed as she embraced cap and trade's massive tax increase on Michigan industry - at the same time claiming, against all the evidence, that it would not lead to an increase in manufacturing costs or energy prices. "Global warming creates volatility. I feel it when I'm flying. The storms are more volatile. We are paying the price in more hurricanes and tornadoes." And there are sea monsters in Lake Michigan. I can feel them when I'm boating. The Global Warming Religion, is like a monkey climbing an elephants leg with Rape on it's mind. I'm sorry, but I just think this GW Religion stuff is full of crap, not to mention this leftist Sen. Debbie Stabenow.
MaVriK 0 #2 August 13, 2009 agreed, yes seasons go through changes, but if you look back through history its all in a cycle, (just like the lakes) global warming is a joke. yeah i believe we should have better emissions and emit less harmful chemicals into the air, but for our own good..~MaVriK~ "The Greatest Accomplishment in life is actually Living it"

He did right by his backers/handlers. Since 9/11 an incredible amount of taxpayers' money, plus an incredible amount of borrowed money, was funneled to the corporate elite. And it is still flowing. Calling it "crony capitalism", while true, diminishes what occurred. It was, and is, blatant theft. Not that such hasn't happened before, but Bush was man enough to take it to a whole new level. _______________________________________________ tanstaafl

So he uses a teleprompter. Everyone else reads their speech from something else. And they all have speech writers. I'm not taking political sides, I'm just saying you probably could've made a real point by picking out any number of legitimate flaws. Like how not being able to get out a coherent sentence (not even being able to read the written speech) may lead people to think that you're one of the duller crayons. Is this what you meant: "Two of O's Teleprompters, after embarrassing the Presz (ident) when delivering speaches written by his puppet master (speech writer?), did the honorable thing by committing suicide"? I'm not trying to be a smart ass. The complete lack of punctuation made it very confusing for me. If that's what you meant, in what way did the teleprompters embarrass Obama? Did they go out or get glitchy during the speech? And how did they deliver the speech?"If you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning." ~Catherine Aird

That's because it's written by Murdoch and the editors at Fox News. Every time you write ASSHOLE (the name of the former President from Arkansas), it replaces ASSHOLE with ASSHOLE. Worse if you write the two previous JACKASS Presidents from that party. (is it happy hour yet?)
