Did Texas execute an innocent man?

Wow. You revived a thread that is 3 months old, in order to continue your stupid sniping,
after being told to shut up by a moderator. You really need to get a life. Seriously.

Your double standard on late evidence has only just become apparent. You need to look at your own faults before worrying about mine.

it really might be that he was innocent of the crime for which he was executed.

You had 13 years to present evidence and get a new trial. You didn't. So you can't complain now when the original sentence is carried out.

I am flabbergasted at this statement. That view is..well...beyond comprehension.

Surely you jest, John.
If not, then God help you if you ever wind up in such a position.

What would you consider an adequate amount of time to save someone from being killed unjustly by the State?
My reality and yours are quite different.
I think we're all Bozos on this bus.

Bumpity bumpity bump!

Seems the prosecutor concealed evidence from the defense.

And as long as the persecutor can control the narrative once his mind is made up by the evidence he wishes to use or not use to create his case...... the "He needed killin" lust for blood takes over and extends to the jury.

One of the more compelling "Frontline's" I've seen.

That was a good vid, thanks for the link.

Makes you wonder how many innocent people Texas has put to death. I found particularly amusing was Rick Perry's pathetic response on camera and his obvious political sacking of the commission's chairman.
“That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”
