Afghan police and US soldier argument

Recommended Posts

Again, you show ignorance on what is being discussed here. There is no law in Afghanistan about eating or drinking water. As a matter of fact Qatar has laws about that. Afghanistan does not. I have been in both (actually currently in the latter one now).

And on the markets here in Jalalabad, they sell plenty of fresh cooked meals during the day, ice cones, etc, and this was before Eid Mubarak. That you have to be respectful, yes, but in no way being hot, in a hot day, carrying over 50lbs of gear on, and no drinking water, is just absolutely no sense to think you are just being a prick and insensitive to their culture.

You go to the extremes when it goes about respecting someone else, but what would I know right?:P
