I have been enticing our local chickenhawks to go serve their country for YEARS now. I mean if you dig war..you should go. They need to put THEIR ass on the line not ra rah rahing for other peoples kids to go in their place.

All those wonderful patriotic little Young Republicans though, are just too important and busy to actually serve this country, they are too busy serving themselves like most of their parents did during Vietnam.

I mean if you dig war

This is something we agree on. I hate war. I really don’t like the people who support it who will never see or feel the effects of what they blindly wish upon others. The effects of war are not just the deaths and destruction you alter peoples lives for generations.
I always find it annoying when the most spoiled fucking people who could not deal with the slightest inconveniences seem to have no problem wishing much worst on others.
I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

The fundamental problem was the shift from leaders actually leading their troops into battle, to the "leaders" hiding in their capitols surrounded by bodyguards issuing orders to far away battlefields.

Don't leave out the minions who support them and learned from them on how to duck out .. look at all the good little young republicans who learned from their chickenhawk mentor EXTRAORDINAIRE... The DICK Cheney.... Maybe if that assbite might have served he would have learned how to actually use a weapon properly.:S

Do you have a problem with people avoiding the draft?

When did the draft end again.. oh yeah.. sometime while I was in uniform with no chance of ever even possibly being subject to it.

I do have problems with those who foment war and won't go themselves, and just expect others to go do it. And I even have MORE disdain for those who don't go who are profiting handsomely for their cowardice.

Do you like oppression, slavery and genocide?

Do you think that WWII was unnecessary?

Foul! Why did you chop the rest of his sentence out? :P

"I really don’t like the people who support it who will never see or feel the effects of what they blindly wish upon others."

Hating war in no way implies that one likes oppression, slavery and genocide.

I'm still waiting to hear about ALL those Dems that volunteered and requested A'stan... especially now that Obowma has been told we need 40000 more troops there.

*crickets*

So...when are the Dems going to demand that Obowma's daughters be forced to enlist like they did Bush's?

No John i dont. I belive there are things one must fight for, however i think if your telling others to fight for something you should be willing to fight your self.

Do you think that WWII was unnecessary?

Not at all. I wish we would have gotting in sooner so 6 million Jews would not have been murdered.

But i do think thats the last war we had where there was a real bad guy and real good guys.
I am proud of the US for what they did in that war i also think so is most of the world.

Thank you for recognizing my point that sometimes war is necessary, and as ugly as war is, it's the better choice to make.

But freeing 25 million muslims from oppression, slavery and genocide in Iraq was a bad war?

Yeah, I forgot that only Republicans can be chickenhawks. Silly me.

I guess that leaves Dems as just plain old chickens.

Yeah, in MY little world, it was Clinton that sent troops to Bosnia and Kosovo. Who sent them in Jeanne-world?

In my little world, 81 Dems in the House and 29 Dems in the Senate (including your boy Waffles Kerry) voted to authorize troops in Iraq. How'd that vote turn out in Jeanne-world?

Hey based on cooked books and a mood in the country to go after the evildoers who were supposed to have WMD and had escaped to Iraq...

It would have been political suicide in your horked up.. IF YOU AINT WITH US YOU IS AGIN US world Mikee.

So how many US troops are dead in Kosovo again since Clinton sent them there?:S:S:S

Hell they even put us a statue to Clinton there in Kosovo.. when is the Bush Statue due for unveiling in Downtown Baghdad?????:ph34r::ph34r:

Ah, yes...the dems were just innocent bystanders, as usual in Jeanne world... imagine that.

What excuse are you going to use when THIS Dem President that never served sends troops to die?

Once he finally gets off his ass and makes a decision, that is.

I think he will be bringing a lot of our people home.. not sending vast numbers off as you put it TO DIE:S:S.. and like the last Democratic president.. relying on the professional soldiers, sailors and airmen to do their jobs,, unlike your Hero's who thought they knew it all from their vast military experience, and sending off thousands of their fellow countrymen so they can funnel money into their buddies posckets thru war profiteering... funny dat.

Too bad Obowma isn't listening to McChrystal, then. Guess he knows better from his vast military experience, huh?

It's kinda funny that when Communist China rolled into Tibet, over 50 years ago, they claimed they were "freeing" Tibetans from the influence of foreigners in their government.

I guess the word freedom can be used as an excuse to start any war ... I wonder how many civilian women and children we killed in Iraq, in order to give them their "freedom"?
Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
