Have you ever met this guy, or are you just going off your prejudices? Being general; do you think he likes this attention? Obvioulsy not. Do you think he likes attention when he wins a big round? Sure. He gets paid way too much for doing nothing important, is celebrated beecause he is masterful with a golf ball, meanwhile there are a lot of unsung heroes working for free. Yes, Bill, dropping a little ball in a hole 270 yds away is important to society . Now that he ALLEGEDLY fucked around on his wife, he is just another lacky celeb who isn't satisfied with his model wife. Poor baby - fuck him. akarunway 1 #53 December 1, 2009 QuoteQuoteIsn't PC well established when you crash into a tree? Not necessarily for a blood/breath test. I'm not sure how the procedure is setup for these sorts of things in Florida, I do have a reasonable understanding on how it works in Texas. Also, a PBT is really unreliable for criminal charges, so many don't use it in these sorts of situations. So you're left with the Brethalizer 5000 or a blood draw. To get to those steps an arrest for DWI has to be made. So you establish the PC for a DWI arrest prior to the chemical test having been completed. A car wrapped around a tree is what people in the business refer to as a clue, but it alone isn't PC. It gives you the ability to detain the driver and determine if a crime (DWI for instance) has been committed. Obviously, that is significantly trumped by taking care of injuries that may have been sustained. A court order to retrieve blood tests completed at the ER is a safe way to complete the investigation into a possible DWI accident. It allows for the full treatment of any injuries and allows for an investigation. As to the possibility of of a family violence offense, I'm sure that an investigation will be completed. What can we do until those investigations are complete? Well, we can make jokes...we could even watch a troll try to explain his expertise. Either one is entertaining.I know Fl. law pretty well when it comes to DUI. And I know that neighorhood VERY WELL. Tiger walks cause of his celeb status, domestic dispute for sure. If it were me (a pissant) they'd have come into the house immediatly arrested me or she for not answering questions and taken me to jail to post bond on whatever charges. And FHP handles all accident investigations in the state. Anbody remember Charles Barkley throwing a drunk thru a plate glass window at Church St. Station in Orlando? Walked w/ a misdomeanor and a hefty payment to the person. Anybody remember OJ? Money walks and....................Pardon the spelling I'm in a hurry. And DZ.com crashes up my computer every time I use spell check. kelpdiver 2 #60 December 1, 2009 Again, how is Tiger sucking money away from society? Golf tourneys pay for performance, and are funded by sponsors and by ticket sales. Ticket sales go up substantially for the events he goes to. This is all voluntary money being put into the pot, which he has earned top spot on ~82 times. As I said, this is radically different than baseball, where you get guaranteed money based on prior performance. Football is also that way, but you can be cut if you slack off too much. QuoteLike I said, I hope you never find yourself in a situation where people laugh at, say, a serious injury you incur while skydiving, since it's common knowledge that skydivers jump just to pull their string at the last second. I mean, what do you expect when you do that? Actually I'm a higher puller. But the thing is, I produce in life, I don't have the highly-needed skill of putting a small ball in a hole yards away or shooting a BBall from the 3-line with great %ages. Yep, I believe his facial injuries with no blood in the vehicle and his wife breaking out the furthest window away and crawling over is legitimate. It all makes sense. Bill, juries get fed this stuff, then throw in the hour: 2:30 AM and they convict. Oh, pardon me, only poor worthless fuckers get convicted, OJ, Blake and the rest have shown us differently and how celbrity not only gets you millions for carrying a ball like no one, but it's good for murder acquittals too. BTW, he has done nothing wrong, you're right. This isn't a matter of him getting away with a crime, it's a matter of him covering up Kobe style, for something that might cost the poor baby billionaire a few multi-mill dollar endorsements. Point is, celebrity status creates a false sense of productivity and is grossly awarded usually to the wrong people and I don't wish ill upon them, but when they get caught with their pants down, get bad attention, even get harrassed; so what? Celebrity is hard to come by, so when the negative aspect is there, they asked for it; tough shit. If Tiger was a MC guy and this happened, it wouldn't even make the police blotter. QuoteBeing a great golfer does not make him a "god" it makes him an entertainer, and people like to be entertained. Right, but in the toilet it makes him a god. When you get thrown a billion dollars in his short lifetime for being a great golfer, he is with god status in teh US. QuoteDoing good deeds and loyal honorable acts makes someone a good person, not an entertainer. And puts him in a lower tax braket. QuoteThe real problem here is that you and too many other people give a shit about entertainers personal lives. And if that were the case, not giving a shit about aour appointed dieties, then we wouldn't celbrate them as much ad those 50 mill $ endorsements might be 2 mill or not at all. So this giving a shit about our celebrities is what makes them filthy rich and what haunts them when they fuck up. QuoteI don't want to know Sean Penn's f'n political views or who Paris Hilton is making a sex video with or who Brad Pitt is now married to for the umpteenth time, and I sure as shit don't give a f#@k about Tiger Woods marital problems... I just want them to shut the f'k up and entertain. And here inlies the root of the issue: it's entertaining when the entertainers get their dick caught in the doorjam. Part of the entertainment is wantching some of society beg for people to quit harrassing them. Is this the typical Tiger-lover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc Just put, "tiger" where you hear, "Brittney." It's fun to watch the groupies rally aroud the worthless, non-productve class of our society that makes momey as if they just cured cancer. Of course when the other sector of society laughs at the troubled celeb and at the Brittney-lover types, well they must be jealous. Or, it could be the circus tent gets bigger with the protector's of these worthless celebs and that makes it all that much more entertaining. The sad fringe is with people like Mackenzie Phillips, Dana Plato; kids caught up the pseudo-celebrity and w/o guidance. Now they could have been drug addicts anyway, but that is the sad product of teh toilet worshiping and exonterating our people who produce nothing and get paid as if they were worth 1 million people. Again, the defenders of these people are fun too.
