SpeedRacer 1 #1 December 6, 2009 Our new president will be Sarah Palin, elected in 2012. All of you Republican supporters should throw all your energy behind her. Her vast intellect is what Conservatives are all about. Here I am predicting it in 12/6/2009. You can put my predictions up against Bill Cole's predictions that the USA will end before the Bush administration ends. But Bill Cole's prediction is the word of God! Andy9o8 2 #2 December 6, 2009 Bill Cole would probably say he's been proven right: How many righties, just on here, have already said, even before the inauguration (ie, before Bush Admin ended), that Obama's election was the End of Days? As for Palin, her operatives have already engineered the murder of the four cops that Huckabee's parolee killed. And now that Huck's just floatin' down the river, she needs to eliminate Romney. Once he's gone, how much longer can Beck have to live? OK, I'll get the popcorn.

I used to feel the same way in the 1970s about the long-shot possibility of that wack job right wing actor from California ever becoming president. The country still hasn't fully recovered from that one. Maybe once Scalia finally buys the farm. Not that I wish anyone dead.

But at $50K-$100K per night on the dinner circuit, Palin's smile is much larger. And why not, if the market is there. If she wanted a serious shot at national politics she would have finished her term, and ran for Senator from AK. Then she would have said the right things for a few years. That is how Hillary fixed her image issues. And hundreds of others before them.Tom B
rehmwa 2 #13 December 7, 2009 Though your thread is satire, What's scary about that is that we are in an out of control political swingset. We just traded one high spender on social issues (GWB) for another one (BHO) that's even worse in spending and just on the other social extreme, and when all the dissatisfaction from that mistake hits, it's just as likely we'll swing back to someone with another extreme social viewpoint even worse than the first one (just at the other end). Palin fits that description. Slow the ride down. But I don't think she's remotely interested in the job. But they could find someone else. ... masterrig 1 #14 December 7, 2009 I sure wouldn't vote for her! I think, she's a fake, a fraud and a phoney! All this stuff about her moose hunting and her kids eating moose hot-dogs is a pile of crap. Sarah Palin is a publicity whore who will do anything to keep her name on the front pages. All anyone sees is how 'beautiful' and 'hot' she is. How shallow is that? What exactly has she done (as governor) for the State of Alaska? Good ol' John McCain and company created this 'image' of her and the public is buying it! That's nuts! She holds-back on saying for sure she is going to run for president and plays coy with the public. Of course, she's going to run! Why else would she quit as Governor of Alaska and write a book and go on a big book signing tour. They show her stepping-off her tour bus when in fact, she flies in a private jet and her 'crew' rides the bus. She's tough all-right... Let's hope, someone better qualified comes along. We just thought Hillary was scarey! Chuck

As a Presidential candidate she'll simply be laughed at, but as a member of the right wing media elite she'll be put on a pedestal, which is what her entire life has been about anyway.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

She didn't fix that image problem at all. Palin is currently sitting in IOWA promoting her book (the one that amazon had to drop the price into the single digits for to sell). I expect she'll be promoting her book in every tiny town in that state. And then maybe a trip to NH is in order. She's running, sure as hell. So long as enough Republicans continue to support her, she'll stick around. When and if a real candidate comes along and starts outpolling her 2:1, then maybe she'll fade away.
