God -is- mocked. All of them from Allah to Zoroaster.
A great deal of laughter is had by all kinds of people on the topic, which I see as a good thing. And much of the time, nothing bad happens to people who do the mocking either. You sow laughter, you reap... well, more laughter. Wheres the problem?

Well, you could just as well apply that to 9/11 - but I don't think that's all that valid either.
Well, there is that thing about our desire to perpetuate infanticide through abortion. But, hey that karma is just on the females.
All I'm saying is this: Abortion/homosexuality/pacts with Satan have no effect on earthquakes or hurricanes.
At least not in Reality Land.

So how much financial support can you garner with that stance?

If you're saying that it's Pat Robertson who has the deal with the devil - and I think you are - then I'd agree.
Or to put it another way, although you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, you can catch more cash with vinegar than with honey.

QuoteQuoteQuoteDuring the 1980's a phenomena known as the Charismatic Movement moved through the nation.
And the fact that it flourished so succesfully is a source of national shame, I would imagine.
On the contrary, many people were blessed by the movement, me included. It helped me overcome my alcohol and drug problems and guided me in my professional career.
Almost any movement, no matter how vile, will have a positve effect on the lives of a few of it's adherents simply by being something to get involved with. But predominantly, rather than a lot of people getting blessed, it was more abvout a lot of cunts getting obscenely rich off the gullibility of rednecks, Pat Robertson included.

Your value system is totally determined by what you see on the telly. Isn't it?

Your post indicates a great ignorance concerning the American people.
First of all, the Charismatic Movement was not vile. Do you even know what that word means? It was positively oriented for the betterment of those listening to the message. It had some twists and spin-offs but it was not vile. Obviously, you have no clue what it was about.
Second, there were many people blessed over a period of years. To say that only a few were blessed again shows a void of factual knowledge.
Third, the movement had reasonably equal proponents of both male and female. To say that the movement was for the financial benefit of a certain kind of woman is both sexist and foolish.
Fourth, the expression "obscenely rich" only has meaning to the gross underachiever. Examine your life.
And lastly, you have absolutely no understanding of the meaning of the term redneck. Its use in the context of your statement indicates only a TV education.

In total agreement, and this is probably one of the least stupid things Glover has said.

Pssst: while only women HAVE cunts, both sexes are quite equally adept at being one.
